Eligibility:

ADA Evidence Reviewer candidates should be ADA members and have a dental degree or PhD.  Candidates also should have a history of peer reviewed publications or EBD experience.

 Application process:

Candidates should complete the application below and submit their CV.  The CV should specifically list peer reviewed publications and EBD experience.  Admission is on a rolling basis, and participants are required to attend a 2-day training workshop to gain the skills to critically appraise systematic reviews and write the critical summaries. Those selected for the program will be notified of the upcoming workshop dates.

Critical summaries will be published on this website, and a subset will also be published in the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA). After training, ADA Evidence Reviewers receive ongoing mentoring in writing critical summaries. The ADA Evidence Reviewer Program provides participants with an opportunity to expand their critical thinking skills and become involved with the ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry.

Questions about the AER program or application process can be submitted to ebd@ada.org
