Updated guideline coming soon
An expert panel convened by the American Dental Association’s Council on Scientific Affairs is working with the ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry to update the screening for oral cancer clinical practice guideline. The new guideline will be published later this year in the Journal of the American Dental Association. The chair of the expert panel developing the guideline, Dr. Mark Lingen, will also be presenting these recommendations during a talk titled “ADA Clinical Practice Guidelines on the Evaluation of Oral Cancer” on the ADA Science Institute Stage at the ADA 2017 national meeting.
